Where the hell is everyone?! This community (and all of our journals!) have gone from stagnant to dead. We really need to get something going again.
Here's the deal. School starts back in about two weeks, I think. The weekend before, I have a proposal: masquerade party, in the common room. I think if I can talk to a couple theatre kids and get some stuff to combine with my own, we can have enough costumes/masks to cover everyone. But of course, if you're crazy like me and have your own things, feel free to wear them.
I'll post more details when I hear from people. I'm going to call Aspasia, Adia, and Matt tonight or tomorrow and poke them into helping. Comment and let me know what you think.

I'm back!! Boston, home of the Red Sox and gay marriage. Home of you crazy people who I used to hang out with.
For those of you who I dont know me, and those of you who didnt knew me well, here the significance of this. I have spent the last 13 months in the little town of Angelus, England. Why is it that only now do I realized how fucked up your accents sound. :) But here I am, going to finish my last year of college and head out into the real world.

Hey guys: I just wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow, April 13, is the Day of Silence . So let me be political, soapbox girl for a moment.
Obviously, no one's required to do this, and, say, if you have an oral presentation to do, or a monologue that your prof is just not going to let you postpone to a later date, I get it. But it's pretty important.
Basically, for those of you who haven't heard this spiel before, it's a day of complete silence to represent the silencing of LGBT people and their allies. Whether that's through discrimination, forced closeting, or just society's views -- think about the difference between the way a heterosexual couple would walk down the street and a gay one, even in our lovely oasis of the South End, but especially outside it -- often, the community is forced to keep itself quiet.
So tomorrow, we're all quiet. Because if no one talks, everyone notices.
You are allowed to write notes when neccessary, and in the privacy of your own homes, speak, if you think that's okay. So yeah. I just think this is important, so I hope people do this with me.

As I said before, paintings. Nimbus Gallery on Whittaker Pkwy. You must come. Be horribly pretentious or be a patron of the arts. The show begins NEXT WEDNESDAY and goes for two weeks. I'm submitting a few sketches I've done for various classes, as well as twopaintingsofliam. I'm hoping they'll get some funds for poor lil' ol' me. Or that someone will recognize my... vast talents. Or something. In any case... Come. Enjoy the show. Entry is free.
And now... for a little randomness. As much as I enjoy the boy I'm currently with, I'd appreciate some activities. The play was lovely, I assure you, but I want a party. Or something. It's too cold and we need to do something. So... if there are any ideas... let's hop to it! Parties, concerts, all night game show marathon, SOMETHING!!!!

If you don't have an ID, you get annoying black Xs regardless of how aged and withered you may look. Monster policy. They do sell bottled water and soda. And food, they have food.
(By the way, the weird name is due to a futuristic theme in the decor and lighting, but that's as far as the weirdness goes. Don't worry, it's not a creepy club.)
If you need directions or a ride, I have them both. 11 people fit in the van comfortably. More if we smoosh.
Anyone in our band is required to go unless they have a really valid excuse (like, "I have ebola" or "I have rapidly developed an allergy to awesome music" or, you know, something like that)
The Last Unicorn is 1)not floofy and 2)not nostalgic. They're...I don't have a clue what to call them. They're kind of emo, yes, but they rock. A lot. I heard them at the last show I went to. They scream. Sometimes. Not all the time.
No Cover's a punker, harder core Evanescence even though they'd kill me for that comparison. Girl singer who doesn't scream, guy backup who does scream. Dirtier. Less piano. Gothy, tho. And yes, I realize the 2 bucks is ironic given the band.
Frankrabbit is...kind of goth-glammy, electronic, but not as polished as say, Kill Hannah, or something, they're kind of garage goth-glam.
Anyway, it should be a good time. One of the kids in No Cover has some friends here, so the crowd should be good. COME WITH!! Honestly, 2 bucks is like, barely keeping Monster alive.

Hello all.
I'm exhausted. For no particular reason except that today is taking vastly longer than I'd like. Because I'd rather be anywhere else right now than home. Yes... that's right. Home. Neicey's house. I'm getting told that in a couple of days... weeks... something like that... that I'll be house/baby-sitting for Jaden's cousin Miriam. Because she and her husband are going on a second honeymoon and no one else is going to have the time to watch a little baby. A one year old. Which is ok by me, actually. It might bother Liam a tad... I hope it doesn't.
But... I won't be around the dorms for a week and a half. I still may post, but what I'm doing is forewarning. Liam, love, you're welcome to come with me. They never said I couldn't bring someone else. And, the rest of you, if you miss me... tell me so.
I won't be gone for a while yet, but it's just that it's on my mind right now.
